LEAN & GREEN CABBAGE-WRAPPED BEEF POT STICKERS

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 large Green Cabbage Leaves
  • 8 oz Lean Ground Beef
  • 2 tbsp Green OnionsĀ chopped
  • 1 3/4 tsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/8 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1/8 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 can Cooking spray

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Bring a large quantity of water to a boil in a big pot. Add the cabbage leaves to boiling water and boil for 2 minutes, until they are crisp-tender. Remove cooked cabbage with a slotted spoon and drain it on paper towels.
  2. In a mixing dish, combine the beef, green onions, sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic powder to make the potsticker filling.
  3. Make the pot stick patties by shaping them into thick oval patties about the size of your thumb. In a nonstick pan, cook the patties for 4 minutes on each side.
  4. Wrap cooked patties in cabbage leaves and use toothpicks to keep them in place.
